In 2010, after learning of this, Congressman Paul Tonko of New York introduced a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives known as The Fort McClellan Health Registry Act. This bill will direct the Veterans Administration to create a registry of those stationed at Fort McClellan from 1935 through 1999.
