STAND TALL RADIO was created five years ago by Al Ulrich while his children both served in the armed forces. Al's son, a multi-tour U.S. Marine was stationed in Afghanistan. Al's Daughter had served on The Harry S. Truman for seven years and is currently a Naval contractor. Feeling a strong desire to support them, Al decided to start an Internet radio station not only for his children, but for any member of the service that will see it as a connection home. Programmed with a wide variety of music, comedy, and information, Al has realized that his station is not only comforting active duty service members but veterans as well.

When asked about the station, Al writes:

"Stand Tall Radio is a Military Supportive Radio... Our goals and commitment is to support our Military men and women by being a communicative base delivering positive results, in addition offering entertainment to those who wish to listen... We started 5 years ago when my son was in Afghanistan. I found myself caring about all men and women in the service and wished to serve them as well."
